News Story: Geminus seeks grant proposals for preventing child abuse

Community Partners, a family service program of Geminus, requests grant proposals for child abuse and neglect prevention services. The call for proposals supports Geminus’ partnership with the Indiana Department of Child Services to provide community-based, social services to families and children in Lake County, Indiana. Grant awards cover services between July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023.

Applicants are strongly encouraged to attend the Bidder’s Symposium on March 9, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Chateau Banquets, 530 W 61 st Ave, Merrillville, IN. Geminus staff will be on hand to discuss the process and answer questions. Current grantees are required to attend. Symposium is limited to two people per agency. For the health and safety of our guests and staff, we are taking every precautionary measure as outlined by the Indiana State Department of Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention very seriously. Temperature checks and face coverings or masks, placed over your nose and mouth, are required to enter the Bidder’s Symposium. High-touch services will be cleaned and sanitized regularly. Attendees should stay at least 6 feet from other people—social distancing will be monitored. Please stay home if you are sick.
