Older Youth Services

The journey for teenagers into adulthood is challenging for everyone. Children in foster care can have even more uncertainties. Without a traditional support system, these young people face a host of challenges. Our Older Youth Services program provides tools youth need to build and maintain a strong foundation as they transition into adulthood.

Beginning at age 16, the program helps plan for long-term self-sufficiency.
Older Youth Services provides guidance and support through education, employment, housing assistance, furnishings, food assistance, bill assistance, financial management, youth engagement and daily living activities.

Our program extends foster care until participants are 21 years old. Voluntary services continue to serve as a safety net until young people turn 23.

Young people can leave foster care with opportunities to achieve the future they envision for themselves.
