Faces of Suicide Conference: The Intersection between Substance Use Disorder and Suicide

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) released Recovery from Substance Use and Mental Health Problems Among Adults in the United States. Using data from the 2021 National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH), this report shows that 70 million adults aged 18 or older perceived that they ever had a substance use and/or mental health problem.

General registration will be $30 and will include, light breakfast, lunch, and CEUs. This conference aims to create a safe space for individuals affected by suicide, where we can openly discuss and share experiences. Together, we will explore ways to raise awareness, promote mental health, and support one another. Our program includes insightful talks, interactive workshops, and engaging discussions led by experts in the field. There will also be a free QPR Gatekeeper training being offered. If you would like to attend the QPR training, please make sure to sign up for that as well. By completing the QPR Training, you will receive 2 additional CEU credits and a QPR Certificate.
